As a fractional CxO and advisor, I help founders and CEOs align their priorities to the strategy by building a cohesive financial and operational plan. I have helped companies set up annual and quarterly planning (all phases of OKR management), recurring meeting agendas, and financial forecasting. I have also overhauled board-level reporting.
As an operator, I have worked across numerous public and venture-backed companies. I served as the general manager and product lead for Morningstar’s U.S. B2C and B2B2C software business. I led a 110-person cross-functional team across product, marketing, sales, engineering, finance, and design. I have also led operational strategy, channel sales, and solutions roles across various B2B venture-backed and public companies.
Additionally, I spent a decade in the investing world as an investor in venture funds and as a sell-side technology analyst. As a senior equity analyst, I led the research efforts for vertical SaaS (CRM, WDAY, etc.), software (ORCL, SAP), and Internet (GOOG, META, TWTR, etc.) companies. My fundamental research focused on identifying companies with “economic moats,” performing competitive research, and modeling unit economics and long-run profitability.
